Viola Davis is an African American actress, born on August 11th, 1965 in St. Matthews, South Carolina, USA. Davis is mostly known as a television and theatre actress. In 2001, she was awarded the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play for her work in King Hedley II
Davis is currently playing Agent Jan Marlow in the ABC television series Traveler.
